Approaching health and wellness from a holistic perspective is not only about expanding awareness and perspectives to include non-traditional modalities of physical healing (e.g. reflexology, acupuncture etc.), but also incorporating a spiritual perspective and healing practices to support your health and well-being.
A SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE
Your soul of pure light, birthed from the heavens was gifted this physical form to grant you this opportunity for your soul to have a human experience to learn, heal, grow, and ascend.
The soul integrates with your physical form through the central nervous system (e.g. brain, brain stem, spinal cord and nerves) and the heart. The soul anchors to the physical body through chakras (e.g. energy centers) along the spinal cord with each chakra responsible for specific emotions and physical regions of the physical body.
For example, one of the seven primary chakras within the physical body is the root chakra, which is anchored at the tailbone of the spinal cord. The energy of the root chakra connects with the physical region of the body between the hips and the bottoms of the feet and energetically represents the spiritual-energetic, emotional and spiritual health associated with safety, security, identity and your “rootedness” to your place in the world, with your relationships (e.g. family, friendships and work), your community and the environment (e.g. geographical location of your home, work place, travel etc.) in which you live.
Therefore, the vibrancy, balance and health of the root chakra may become distorted if you experience any of the following:
emotional pain;
fear, anxiety, self-doubt, worry;
unresolved or unaddressed trauma;
lack of clarity of identity, purpose or place in relationship to the the world around you.
When a chakra experiences this kind of imbalance as a result of spiritual-energetic and emotional challenges, these imbalances may also begin to create imbalances in the physical system of the body. Physical symptoms may begin to emerge in the region of the physical body associated with that specific chakra.
For example, if there are imbalances in the root chakra stemming from feelings of self-doubt, a lack of confidence affecting how a person makes decisions and takes decisive action (e.g. moving forward) a person may begin to experience symptoms of arthritis or inflammation in the joints, which houses the connective tissue supporting moving or walking forward with ease. Also, when fear and anger are held in the body (e.g. unresolved, unaddressed fear, trauma and anger) they represent the element of fire and often contributes to inflammation in the physical body (e.g. chronic pain, psoriasis and other autoimmune disorders).
Additionally, spiritual compromise resulting in physical symptoms and health challenges can also originate from a spiritual attachment, entity or energy (i.e. energy from other people, places, objects) attaching to you resulting in physical compromise or challenges. When this happens there are some common signs and symptoms you might experience.
Signs & Symptoms of Spiritual Compromise
sudden onset of migraine, headache, vertigo;
tachycardia (e.g. racing heart), arrhythmia, heart fluttering;
pressure on head, neck and/or shoulders;
hot / cold sweats;
nausea and/or dizziness;
sudden feeling of panic / catastrophe (e.g. feeling like you might die, no way out);
intense and seemingly uncontrollable emotions;
strong mood swings into anger or sadness;
shortness of breath, tight chest;
fatigue or heaviness in the body;
disturbed sleep, waking at the same time each night (i.e. usually between 2am - 4am);
nightmares or night terrors;
pain in the body (e.g. neck, shoulder, shoulder blade, abdomen, back)
These are just a few of the most common symptoms or experiences of spiritual compromise. You should not automatically assume that these symptoms are of spiritual origin, it is important to seek help from your primary care physician or licensed medical professional to assess and treat these symptoms to ensure your physical health and well-being. With this in mind, it is common to assume these experiences are purely of a physical nature (e.g. non-spiritual), when in fact there is a significant spiritual component contributing to these experiences. Therefore, how do you determine if there is a spiritual component to your physical experiences?
IS THIS PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE OF SPIRITUAL ORIGIN?
Here are a few approaches to assess whether your physical experiences have a significant spiritual component or origin:
Seek consultation from a trusted spiritual practitioner with a demonstrated ability to assess physical and spiritual health challenges (e.g. medical intuitive, spiritual healing practitioner). While there are a vast and diverse array of spiritually gifted individuals to choose from, it is important to select a trusted and trained practitioner able to safely assess and guide you through your healing journey.
By a method of deduction. You have met with different doctors and specialists and completed a wide range of tests and assessments (e.g. blood work and scans), while you and your healthcare team remain perplexed as to what is causing the physical health challenges and symptoms you are experiencing. This is one way clients have entered into my practice over the years with approximately 80% of those experiencing physical challenges having a clear spiritual component and/or origin (e.g. spirit or entity removal, curse / hex, spiritual healing of the chakras or past life, karma etc.).
Engage in a spiritual-energetic healing or clearing practice and observe what happens. Over the years, I have noticed that if there is a spiritual-energetic component connected to the physical symptoms, there is often an immediate response experienced by the client when engaging in spiritual-energetic practices, such as:
Spiritual healing practitioners moving light through the body;
Sound Vibration Bowl Therapy: Crystal or Tibetan Bowls;
Guided meditations (self or by others) connecting with the divine light and moving light through the body to clear, cleanse, and fill with light.
Explore healing chakras as a complementary medicinal approach. When a client is working with their healthcare team to address their physical experiences, it is also beneficial to begin exploring and addressing the spiritual-energetic and emotional energies as well. This can be done on your own, but, is recommended to work in collaboration with a trained spiritual healing practitioner and/or a licensed mental health therapist as they offer different modalities and approaches that are often complementary and supportive of your healing journey.
SELF-ASSESSMENT
Another way to determine if there is a spiritual component associated with your physical experiences is by developing a practice of self-assessment, which challenges you to activate and engage with your spiritual self (e.g. the light of your soul).
The human mind is programmed and conditioned to focus and monitor the activities of the physical world to ensure safety in the physical world, since as a soul of pure light the rules of the physical world often do not apply. Thus, this emphasis on survival in the physical world reinforces a general lack of awareness of the non-physical unseen world of energy, spirit and spirituality.
Therefore, to assess whether there is a spiritual-energetic component to your physical experiences ask yourself to first shift your perspective and awareness from your physical body to the awareness and recognition of the light of your soul in the body. With this shift in awareness walk yourself through the following process of assessment:
